Year 3 transition – exploring a new playground
Year 3 have been enjoying exploring their new playground and equipment in Key Stage 2.
The children had a tour of the playground in week one, and they discussed how to use the equipment safely. Since then, they have had new opportunities to test out their balance, coordination and agility on the climbing wall and trim trail.
Year 3 have also been showing their team work skills when playing ball games such as handball, football and basketball.
When the weather permits, the children will also have opportunities to use the Scrap Shed to build imaginative creations at lunchtime. It is a fabulous opportunity for the children to show their creative side.
