Pirates ahoy! (part 2)

It may be Autumn, but in Reception pirates have arrived! Some of the children were playing pirates and boats in the outdoor area, so we followed their interests and helped them to make their own hats, swords and telescopes. This meant lots of cutting skills, patience and turn taking. Everyone had such a good time acting out stories that we had an impromptu pirate dress up day to follow. I’m sure pirates will be visiting soon…. Watch this space!
