The Christmas productions were stunning again this year and left everyone with huge smiles on their faces. The children looked wonderful in their costumes and the singing was simply joyous. The actors did a great job too and you could hear every word they said. The number of positive comments that parents and cares asked me to pass on to various classes and teachers were testament to what a fine job everyone did. More than that, they were much appreciated.
This type of opportunity is very important for our pupils - performing in front of a packed hall gives them a great deal of confidence. It was also a good opportunity to celebrate the Christmas story, which is important to many of our families.
At the end of each show, school did our annual collection for St Gemma’s Hospice. This local charity does incredible work and families donated over £650 to support their work. I know they will be deeply appreciative of this donation.
Merry Christmas everyone, Mr Rivers
