Talbot Primary School and Rayneville Primary School have continued their link project for the third year running. Groups of children meet throughout the year with their teacher and engage in activities which bring them closer together. It gives both sets of pupils, who live in very different parts of Leeds with dissimilar communities, the opportunity to share their ideas, interests and get to know one another better.
The project is organised by Mrs Russell at Talbot and staff from Rayneville. On this occasion, Miss Cameron also helped out, to teach the children about Outdoor Learning. The pupils got to make forest dens, build mobiles and have fun at Roundhay Park. Great organisation meant that even rain couldn’t spoil the day!
