What is Purple Mash?
Purple Mash is an award-winning cross curricular website for primary school children which can be accessed both at school and at home. It provides a safe environment which enables children to explore and enhance their knowledge in a fun and creative way. Each child has a personalised login and children can then work on ‘2dos’ which are set for them by their teacher, or be creative independently and have a go at many of the other tools that the website provides. It covers all areas of the curriculum including everything from computing, painting, game design, spelling, science, maths and much more.
How can you log on?
Children can log on at home using the following the link:
Note, children use the same passwords as for DB Primary.
Purple Mash ‘Mash Up’ Day
On Thursday 8th November, we enjoyed Purple Mash ‘Mash Up’ Day. We had great fun wearing purple and exploring more about what Purple Mash had to offer.
Have a look at some of our photos from the day!
Why we like Purple Mash
Here is what some of our children think of Purple Mash:
I enjoy computing lessons with purple mash as it is fun and there is lots to do. You can do things that challenge you
I like the game ‘Bond Balls’ because it helps you with your number bonds
I like purple mash because you can learn things on the computer that I haven't already learnt about at school.
There's lots of different games and they are all really fun! I use purple mash at home and in cyber café.
I love doing more coding at home after my computing lesson
2LM love Purple Mash and the rewards!
You learn lots of facts!
